Born on 21 April 2000 in Germany, Laura Hetzel was raised in the midst of horses under the guidance of her father, Holger Hetzel, a renowned showjumping trainer and rider. Her inaugural competition took place aboard her father’s esteemed horse, Gipfelstürmer.

In 2014, Laura secured her initial bronze medal at the European Championship for Children as part of the German team.
The year 2017 witnessed another achievement with a third-place finish alongside Team Germany at the European Championship for Juniors in Samorin.
Laura engages in both national and international CSIU25 competitions, showcasing her skills at various levels. Additionally, she dedicates herself to cultivating the potential of young horses, guiding them towards higher levels of performance.
