Born in Switzerland on 29 June 2001, Karen competed in her first karting championship in 2018. The following year, she won the AutoScout24 & Cupra Young Driver Challenge against 1,500 competitors. In 2020, she won the Filière Endurance selection.
Her first full season in a championship car was in the Mitjet 2L in 2022. Then, in 2023, she discovered the prototype in the Ultimate Cup Series, becoming runner-up in the Nova NP02. She has joined the Iron Dames project in 2024 competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
