IRON DAMES TO MAKE HISTORIC DEBUT IN ASIAN LE MANS SERIES

The Iron Dames are delighted to announce their debut in the highly competitive Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) for the much-anticipated 2024-25 season. This entry marks a significant milestone as the pioneering project continues to break barriers in endurance racing on an international scale. Renowned for their impressive performances in European, American and global championships and races, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours, the all-female crew will now extend their racing presence to Asia.

Renowned for its attractive and diverse racing environments, the Asian Le Mans Series offers a unique blend of endurance racing on world-class circuits across the Middle East and Asia. The 2024-25 season will include a maximum field of 45 cars for the six-race series, including an impressive 28 GT3s, with six manufacturers represented. The Iron Dames will compete in this highly competitive class, taking on some of the best teams in the world in each of the six championship rounds. As part of their debut in this highly competitive class, the Iron Dames will be running a Porsche 911 GT3 R, the same basis of car with which they have enjoyed success in 2024.
 
The Iron Dames squad will be made up of experienced and talented drivers, Michelle Gatting being the first driver confirmed. With a strong legacy behind them and a commitment to pushing the limits and reaching new heights, the Iron Dames are ready to take on the challenge of the ALMS and continue their remarkable journey in endurance racing. Beyond their ambitions, their presence in Asia and the Middle East will allow them to spread their inspirational messages to other women pursuing their own dreams in this particularly dynamic and forward-looking region of the world.

The championship begins with a double-header at the Sepang International Circuit towards the end of 2024. Following that, the series moves to back-to-back rounds at the Dubai Autodrome and the Yas Marina Circuit in 2025 for four races in eight days for the trio.
