2025 ELMS Calendar: Silverstone Returns – Full Race Schedule & Key Dates

The 2025 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) calendar promises another thrilling season of endurance racing across Europe’s most iconic circuits.

The season will feature six four-hour races, including a long-awaited return to Silverstone, marking the UK’s first ELMS event since 2019.

A season of iconic circuits

The 2025 ELMS season kicks off with a pre-season Prologue test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 31 March to 1 April, ahead of the 4 Hours of Barcelona on 6 April.

From there, the action moves to Paul Ricard in France for the 4 Hours of Le Castellet on 4 May.
The team then heads to Italy for the 4 Hours of Imola on 6 July, followed by Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on 24 August.

The series makes its long-awaited return to the UK for the 4 Hours of Silverstone on 14 September before the season finale takes place at Portimão in Portugal on 18 October.

Silverstone returns to 2025 ELMS calendar

One of the biggest talking points for the 2025 ELMS calendar is the return of Silverstone. After a six-year hiatus, the historic British circuit is back bringing the spirit of endurance racing to UK fans.

Notably, the event will use the National pits rather than the ‘Wing’ pit lane, the same arrangement as when ELMS shared the track with the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) previously.

The return of Silverstone also means that ELMS support series, including the Michelin Le Mans Cup and Ligier European Series, will hold rounds in the UK for the first time, adding to the anticipation.

Iron Dames ready for 2025 ELMS challenge

The Iron Dames head into the 2025 ELMS season with strong momentum after an impressive 2024 campaign; the all-female team of Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy and Rahel Frey finished fourth in last year’s championship owing to a remarkable victory at the 4 Hours of Imola and a runner-up finish at the 4 Hours of Portimão season finale.

With a proven track record in the series and a competitive driver line-up – Célia Martin now taking over from Rahel Frey – the Iron Dames are poised to challenge for more podiums and race wins in the 2025 season.
